Liber Batrachophrenoboocosmomachia sub figura DXXXVI (Practice A)

This virtual chela is intended to assist those who are engaged with Liber 536 Practice A, in which a random number of objects are thrown onto a table and then quickly re-gathered. The practitioner is instructed to declare the number of objects seen, which the chela then confirms.

The instruction is to begin with 15-minute sessions 3 times a day, with a maximum of 7 objects to start. The number of objects should increase by one at each practice, provided that no mistakes are made before increasing the number.

The duration for which the objects are visible is meant to decrease with time, while the length of the sessions can increase with time - with discretion, taking care to stop before fatigue sets in.

These brief instructions are not meant to replace the text of Liber 536 and the practitioner is admonished to maintain familiarity with the source material while engaged with this Work.
Set up
In the "Practice" tab, there are 3 settings:
1) "Session Length": the length of time in minutes that you will be practicing for (eg 15 minutes)
2) "Max Dots": the maximum number of dots to show at any one time (you will be shown a random number of dots between 1 and the number you choose)
3) "Display Time": the number of seconds that the dots will be shown for

Practice
1) When you are ready to begin, click the "Start Session" button. The "Time remaining" will begin to count down.
2) A "Start Round" button will appear below the practice area. Clicking this button will cause a random number of dots to appear in the practice area. These dots will disappear after the "Display Time" has elapsed.
3) Enter the number of dots seen into the "Number seen" box, then declare the number by either hitting the Enter key or clicking the "Declare" button. The "chela" will then let you know whether or not your declaration was correct.
4) Click the "Start Round" button (or hit Enter) to begin the next round.
5) Continue to repeat Steps 2 to 4 until the session timer has counted down to 00:00.
6) When the session timer reaches 00:00, the controls under the practice area will disappear and a new session can be started by clicking the "Start Session" button.
